I'm also left handed, and a lot of the time, tools and scissors just don't fit my hands properly, these are ambidextrous and work perfectly for both me and my wife!     I have no idea how I've lived so long as a gardener without a pair of these tiny little snipping shears. They make it really easy to get at exactly the stem that you're aiming for. I like the cover for them and so far they've been durable, easy to use, and easy to clean.

    The pruning shears I would say are just so so. The locking mechanism is awkward and I don't feel like I'm getting quite the leverage that I expected to be able to get with them. I'd say they're fine for anything up to maybe 1/2" diameter at most, but if you're looking to prune anything larger than that, or anything that size regularly, definitely get something else. They're fine for a few errant twigs, pruning grapevines yearly (not old growth), cutting sunflower side blossoms (not main stalks), etc.
